Shoemaker’s story makes no sense Empty Shoemaker’s story makes no sense

Post by The Educator Sat May 06, 2023 9:07 pm

First he claims to be a grave robber who collects shoes, fine, almost normal.

Claims to have been blocked night 4, the night I did admit to trying to block him. BUT! I was stopped by an evil spirit. my block didn’t go through.

Then he claims to have tried to move on himself night 4, which makes little sense for a grave robber.

Shoemaker’s story makes no sense Empty Re: Shoemaker’s story makes no sense

I would suppose that depends on the role acquired. Though I'll admit I have been thinking if the others died from a string, who else would have string? Not many on that list, but I can't lie, I did think of the shoemaker. Admittedly if they are the grave robber, it's a late game role anyways. Regardless, too many people were blocked in one night I believe without at least one being false. If anyone has evidence of course please add it. The murmurings of this monk are simply suspicions.

Unless his being blocked night 2 was due to you, Educator, I find nothing verifiable in his story.

Wanted to wait until after the night moves happened to chime in but my role is the graverobber. I think it's very likely the shoemaker is a witch as two graverobbers doesn't make sense. Also a shoelace would match my findings for the Tailor being strangled.

I can confirm the Shoemaker does in fact have a shoelace as one of their items

While I'm at it let me outline my moves and findings so far.

Night One: Randomly targeted someone but didn't correctly guess the murder victim so it failed.
Night Two: Grave robbed the Tailor and picked up the Coroner role.
Night Three: Used the coroner role on the Tailor to discover they were strangled by something rope like.
Night Four: Used the coroner role on the Butcher to discover they were strangled with a necklace.
Night Five: Grave robbed the Butcher. I won't say what role they had but they were innocent.

The dead disagree. They call you liar. The Tailor was the coroner.

OK, hang on, you might have saved yourself with the Graverobber claim.

While this comes as a bit of a surprise, I was wondering why you seemed to only have examined two bodies in the three nights you could have potentially moved.

The farmer lying would also mean that the jailer was lying when he tracked the farmer to the tailor’s body. This all checks out from what I understand.

The butcher was innocent, you say? This looks very bad for some other townsfolk if we are still believing our friend the Librarian’s findings.

I believe the dead were trying to help, but the Farmer’s explanation, which came before my revelation, fits everything we have witnessed this far.

Splendid.

Farmer, you do not need to reveal the role you picked up from the Butcher, but can you reveal his items? This will potentially clear or incriminate the drunk, with actual evidence instead of mudslinging and yelling.
