A Modest Proposal
I am overall ok with lynching the Gardener, but I am a bit worried she is innocent because our only evidence is her inactivity and her items. The Butcher also had a knife, a far more choppy one, and he turned out to be innocent.
On the other hand, we KNOW that there is one witch between me and the Hunter. If we lynch the Hunter today, then tomorrow night the monk can kill me and we’d be down a witch for sure. The Aristocrat can also confirm the Monk for sure this way by watching me. I am proposing this because I don’t know how else I can be useful to town anymore. As I said in the beginning, I want to assist in the capture of at least one witch before I perish.

That would solve the issue I guess…
Though would it not be better to watch the Monk’s room to see if the witches tried to stop the kill with a coin flip? That way, even if the monk dies and you survive, we will know who killed the Monk.

Re: A Modest Proposal
This could also be a risky trap honestly. If it comes down to a coin flip, we very well may be very close to having the witches outnumber us. And if I end up doing you'll only have lynches to attempt to win. Not to mention if Hunter is innocent, that's another number down.

Between the librarian and the hunter. One is certainly lying. However, does no one else also give it odd that no "trap" has ever gone off?

Re: A Modest Proposal
Frankly at this point, there aren't really any information roles besides one left. Meaning it's mostly a guessing game. I would argue it may be more important to kill an active potential witch. As they can influence a vote. Unlike am inactive one.

Re: A Modest Proposal
For example. With so few active players left. And people moving on one another. Who exactly has youngling been "protecting". Not many have claimed to move on the same targets so someone should've been blocked I'd imagine. Yet no one has stated this. They haven't claimed who they've moved on the previous night have they?

I mean, if we have the numbers before the vote is due I’m not opposed.

Though I do think there is more than one witch left still at this point.

Re: A Modest Proposal
Yes, but considering we don't know who between the two is innocent, we could be killing one of our own. And then if the murderers kill next night, that's another death. If I kill reporter and they're a murderer, there's a chance they'd try to kill me and it comes down to a coin flip on if I die before I get my kill. Which then could put us down possibly two. I know either way it's a gamble as it's definitely one of them, but this plan seems risky to say the least.

That’s why we have the Aristocrat watch your room. If they come to kill you we know who did it.
I can still take someone out of the picture for a night as well.

Re: A Modest Proposal
True. It's still a guaranteed net even though. Neither necessarily a pro or a con in the numbers game.

Re: A Modest Proposal
We could also stick with the gardener today, tomorrow take the Librarian out of the game, and I keep the Hunter under lock and key again.
They can’t stop all of us!!!!
There are fewer witches than innocents, so a net even is still good for us.

Re: A Modest Proposal
That much is certainly true. I'm still very uncertain on youngling and carpenter though.

Re: A Modest Proposal
The Librarian said on night 1 that it cannot be both the carpenter and the gardener.
Whether that’s true or not is another question, but it’s something to think about.

Do we know for certain that no trap has gone off?

Re: A Modest Proposal
There would be far more prevented moves in the past if they did. And most simply claimed to be blocked rather than trapped. Not entirely sure if the wording would be different, but I'd imagine so. It'd be off if the traps just last for one night after being fully set too. So I imagine if it was real that there would be at least one to have gone off.

Re: A Modest Proposal
The butcher had reason to have a knife. A gardener does not.
If the Monk wants to kill the Librarian and Hunter he has my…
… wait for it …
… Blessing.
Splendid.

Re: A Modest Proposal
Actually, yeah, let’s stick with the Gardener today.
Tomorrow
Monk kills Hunter
Hunter can protect himself.
If the Hunter is innocent, no one dies, and we lynch the Librarian. If the Hunter is guilty, he dies, and we don’t need to lynch the Librarian.
The aristocrat will still need to watch the monk to ensure we will know what stopped this plan from happening.

Sounds like a great way to get me killed.

Re: A Modest Proposal
Depends on me, actually.
Who knows what I’ll decide. A well placed block, a final “Hail Mary” protect, any could prevent a kill.

And the risk is what makes it thrilling instead of stressful because I definitely hit my stress cap a few days ago!!!!
